This was the first song I'd written that made people take notice. The singer from Psycho Surgeons (a successful band from Bradford) heard a demo of it and advised me to record it and release it as a single. It was one of the earliest recording sessions for the band and a mate of mine called Neil Fitch who I met at Portsmouth Polytechnic produced it. Neil is an ace guitarist and it was his influence that made me want to get into music. He later joined a band called The Wasps.
