I wrote this when I was reading a lot about being in the now and thinking about the only question that is worth asking - how should we live? That question also contains the unavoidable, how should we die?

Naked and erect in the jungle, my heart pounding like the ocean, my breath rushing like the wind. I stand alone and defiant - a dangerous animal of the forest - golden, sacred, immaculate. I feel the power within me, a power that comes directly from God and I howl in my ecstasy of living.

I see the truth, I surrender myself to the truth and the swarming madness of Life becomes clear: and now would be a good time to die. For never have I fully understood the strange and lonely beauty of the ego, never have I longed so fiercely for the birth of my soul - to become part of the Eternal. Oh god I'm coming!
