I loved the pop track Push It by Salt'n Pepper and I convinced the band to cover it. The original lyrics didn't work for me so I wrote a new set of lyrics and we called the track Feel Like An Alien. It became a regular in our live set.

About a year ago I thought the lyrics deserved its own tune so I came up with a riff and a chorus. I had a basic structure but then left it languishing in the computer. A couple of weeks ago I listened to it again and thought it was worth finishing. It's turned out a lot better than I anticipated.
