Take the Stage
01:44
|
|||
Take the stage.
Don't be afraid.
Appear as the sage of this dying planet.
Take the stage
And turn a new page.
They're watching how you behave.
Sing.
Sing with rage and shake the chains of your enslavement.
Dance.
Dance with fire in your blood and love in your heart.
Take the stage,
take their money,
hold their attention,
show invention.

Naked 2021
06:36
|
|||
Alright listen up.
Now some of you people listening to this may be too cool to be moved by anything that you see or hear in the world today. You may think you're too clever or too hard to be taken for a ride or have your weaknesses exposed. You may feel you have to be at least one step ahead of everyone else in order to demonstrate that you're not a sheep or a fool. So you play games to hide those parts of yourself that you feel are vulnerable or worthless. I'm talking about you journos, you anti-vaxxerss, you hard men. Well I'm not that kind. You see, I'm naked.
I came into this world naked and I'll go out stripped of all my pretensions, so while I'm alive I'll not perpetrate those mind games that just screw up everyone who comes across them. What you see is what I am; hurt me and I'll cry, love me and I'll rejoice. I'm completely transparent, exposed, naked.
I see a hard man walking down the street Iike a killer and I know what he's fighting for - to be baby naked. I see a proud woman deny her true feelings for a man and I know what her secret desire is for - to be stripped naked. I see a politician on the TV hungry for power and I know what his lust is for - to be seen by millions naked.
Ah, what’s that? Naked. Naked. Naked. Naked. Naked. Naked.
Alright, I want everyone to join in now, and I don’t mean clap your hands or sing along - I mean naked. I want everyone out there to start taking off their clothes. You don’t need to be embarrassed. We’re all friends here. I’ll show you mine if you show me yours. There’s nothing to be afraid of. We can feel clean and we can feel pure and we can be sure that there’s more to life than a body. Be naked and be free. We can join together and walk the streets naked. And we can look upon our bodies and feel no shame. We can be children again, like little children, pure and innocent. Give up your games, your clothes. Give up. Be naked.
Who’ll be the first to take off their clothes?

Psalm 151
04:28
|
|||
This tells the simple story of a young country boy who makes his way to the city after being told that only there can he find artistic and personal fulfillment. That's a lie, but he believes it anyway and once arrived in the city he easily succumbs to the glamour and charms of a hard city woman full of the false promises and smiles of that kind that. That boy was innocent but as everyone knows there is nothing so delicious to the decadent than the moral corruption of an innocent young child. This then is that boy’s votive to city women and their places of living. Let us all learn from the lesson he teaches in psalm 151.
She calls my name in a strange land. She doth prevail when my spirit is sore in need of passion. She taketh me from myself and leadeth me along the paths of the Holy City and I behold the glory that is the city and unto its temple I do make my covenant for I will worship the names of the prophets that are inscribed on the walls there and be without a god no more.
And yay! she teacheth me to sing the praises of the city and rejoice in its bounty. She deviseth new ways of devotion for me and lo, how I tremble when her voice calls me to bed.
Surely I have found what all men seek, my redemption comes with the giving of her sanctuary. I can be afraid no more.
And the truth... Oh Lord, the truth is shoddy! Though my sperm leapeth like salmon, my spirit lies broken and corrupt for she speaks the names of the Beast and vile iniquity hath dominion in her house.
And I will carry the weight of my knowledge forever for the unknowable has been shown to me and I know, oh god I know where it is I go when I die.

Hard Left (Molotov Mix)
02:42
|
|||
You are many
They are few
It’s written down in poor boy blood the hurt they’ve done to you
They take it all
Make you build a wall
Keep your kind from trespassing in the gardens of the Hall
Why don’t we wise up? Why don’t we sign up? Why don’t we rise up?
Don’t believe
You’re the fool
The way they keep us occupied is divide and rule
Eat the rich
Grind their bones
Let the fat drip from our lips as we feast on Mr Jones
Why don’t we wise up? Why don’t we sign up? Why don’t we rise up?

That Lazy River of Love
05:24
|
|||
I’m Just passing through,
I won’t be here long, I’ll sing my song and then I’ll move on
To the next bend in the lazy river of love
Won’t you join me on the lazy river of love?
We’re all Just passing through,
We’ll have our moment in the sunshine and then we’ll move on
To the next bend in the lazy river of love
Why don’t we say hello to the people we meet
We can break bread and taste the wheat?
tell our stories
clap out a beat
dance a little
laugh together
make memories
Teach our children wisdom
And if I shed a tear
And share some sorrow
It’s because tomorrow we’ll all be gone
Moving along to the next bend in that lazy river of love
If you’ve never played in the river, let me take you there,
It’s waiting for you; it’s been waiting just for you, for you…and you…
this river has been waiting forever… just for you
Come, abandon your baggage, leave your valuables on the earth
You won’t need them anymore
Once the lazy river takes you, you don’t want for anything on the shore
Everything changes in this river. Everything
That lazy river of love will embrace you, carry you home,
carry you gently over the rocks and stones, over the snags and traps
all is forgiven, all is forgotten, all is faithful
We’re all Just passing through,
We won’t be here long, I’ll sing my song and then I’ll move on
To the next bend in that lazy river of love
That lazy river of love is calling us:
whispering, come to me,
give yourself to me, let me wash you in joy and forgiveness
I will carry you home
I was lost before I came to the lazy river
I was a seed carried on the wind
Now The lazy river of love will guide me
take me to the one place I’ve been seeking since the day I knew my name
To the place where I am beloved.
